Sherece

Sherece is a Jamaican-born singer and songwriter whose sound blends contemporary R&B with Christian influence. Originally from Montego Bay and now based in South Florida, she has steadily built her audience through live performances across the U.S. and internationally, connecting with listeners who gravitate toward honest, melody-driven music.

Music is in her DNA. Inspired by her father, singer Sevan, Sherece grew up in a household steeped in melodiy, storytelling, and vocal expression. One of her earliest musical influences was  Alicia Keys, and one of her earliest recordings was a cover of Hillsong United’s “Oceans” reflecting both her love for R&B and her faith-centered foundation.

In April 2020, she released her debut EP Overlooked, formally introducing her voice as a recording artist and showcasing her versatility. Since 2020, she has built a growing presence in the UK market while continuing to expand her reach internationally.

During the pandemic, Sherece focused on songwriting and studio development, recording with Busy Signal, Kananga, and Jovi Dipree. Her single “RAIN” highlights her R&B sensibility, exploring themes of love, uncertainty, and vulnerability.

As she works on her next album while pursuing a nursing degree, Sherece represents young women who are building something real. She balances long studio nights with early classes, faith with works — and that grind shows up in her music. Her flow is all about R&B and rhythms true to her heart as well as her roots.
