Founded in 2016 by producer Junior Brown (aka IamNush), Nuh Rush Records is a Kingston-rooted record label built on a foundation that fuses Jamaica’s rich pillars of music, culture, and entrepreneurship. The catalog spans reggae, dancehall, R&B, and gospel records whose common thread is a production quality intended to both meet the moment and stand the test of time.
From culturally grounded reggae anthems to high-energy dancehall releases and spiritually rooted projects, each production reflects Nuh Rush’s vision and committed approach to his craft.
Over the years, Nuh Rush Records has collaborated with some of Jamaica’s greatest artists including Busy Signal, Beenie Man, Konshens, Tony Curtis, and Lutan Fyah, while continuing to develop emerging voices such as Kananga, Jenesis, and Sherece. In 2024, Nuh Rush became the official label home and manager for Queen Ifrica; one of the leading roots reggae voices of her generation.
Flagship releases such as The Redemption Project — a Nyabinghi-inspired roots compilation featuring leading Jamaican vocalists — demonstrate the label’s commitment to music that carries the culture forward with integrity and authenticity.
At its core, Nuh Rush Records is driven by one principle:
